Privacy at WashDash

Information we collect
When you use WashDash, you may give us your name, email, phone number, sign-in details, service address, postal area, requested service, schedule, and booking notes or messages. Booking details can include the kind and size of a pet or vehicle. Pros also provide profile, business, service-area, availability, and payout-onboarding information. Pros may submit a government photo ID and proof of insurance for verification, plus logos and work photos for profile review. Customers may submit a rating, display name, and review text after a completed booking.
Support and privacy requests include the email, category, action, and message you submit. We also process limited device, request, and security signals to protect sign-in and public forms from abuse.
How we use information
We use information to search live service areas, create and manage bookings, show day-of progress, deliver booking messages and notifications, maintain customer and pro accounts, support payouts, answer support and privacy requests, prevent misuse, and keep operational and financial records.
Optional analytics stays off unless you allow it. When enabled, WashDash uses it to understand site use and improve local availability. You can keep it off in the analytics choice shown on the site.
Who can see or process it
Customer contact details are not published in marketplace listings. Once a pro is assigned to a booking, that pro can see the customer name, contact details, service address, service notes, and booking messages needed to complete the visit. A pro's authorized business members can access that pro's schedule and booking workspace.
Government photo ID and proof of insurance stay private and are visible only to authorized WashDash operations reviewers. The public marketplace shows only the resulting verification badge. Provider logos and work photos stay private while awaiting review and become public on the provider profile only after WashDash publishes them. Published reviews publicly show the rating, reviewer display name, and review text.
WashDash uses Vercel and Supabase for hosting and authentication. Configured notification providers process delivery information for messages they send on WashDash's behalf.
When Stripe is used for a payment or pro payout, card entry and bank onboarding use Stripe-hosted tools. WashDash receives payment and account references plus transaction status, not full card or bank-account numbers.
Retention and safeguards
We keep different records for as long as they are needed to operate accounts and bookings, handle support, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and maintain payment, tax, payout, security, and audit records. The period depends on the record and why it is needed.
Access to private records is restricted by role and service boundaries. WashDash uses scoped access links, authentication, database access controls, and encryption where the product requires it. No online service can promise absolute security.
Account deletion and retained records
Deleting an account removes sign-in access and deletes or scrubs personal contact details, service addresses, notes, booking messages, reusable payment-method references, access tokens, and other account-linked data that is no longer needed. Marketing consent is revoked and active standby requests are removed.
Booking, payment, tax, dispute, payout, provider-organization, security, and audit records may remain when WashDash needs to keep them. Customer identity is replaced in retained booking records. A retained record may still include non-contact service facts, such as the service type and pet or vehicle kind and size. Shared provider business records may remain for other active members.
Upcoming customer bookings and sole-pro commitments must be cancelled before account deletion can finish. In the WashDash app, open Settings and choose Delete account.
Your choices
You can request an export of available data or ask for erasure. The current export can include booking, standby, consent, and support records tied to the email you confirm; it is not a promise that every system record can be exported. Use the preference link in a WashDash email to change marketing choices.
For privacy questions, use the WashDash support form. It stores your request and returns a reference when the request is accepted.
